The Swedish Chemical Society
Division of Vibrational Spectroscopy
The second biannual meeting of the society will be held on June 11-13, 2012 in conjunction with "Analysdagarna" in Uppsala. A half day symposium with invited speakers dedicated to vibrational spectroscopy will be organised - Frontiers in vibrational spectroscopy methods: Miniaturization and non-invasive diagnostic tools.
The speakers invited to the symposium are:
- Boris Mizaikoff, Institute for Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, Ulm University, Germany: Progress in mid-infrared sensor technology.
- Olof Svensson, AstraZeneca R&D Mölndal, Sweden: Transmission Raman spectroscopy in pharmaceutical applications.
- Renato Zenobi, Laboratorium für Organische Chemie, ETH Zürich, Switzerland: Tip-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy.
- Stefan Andersson-Engels, The Division of Atomic Physics, Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Lund University, Sweden: Biomedical and pharmaceutical laser spectroscopy applications.
Boris Mizaikoff will also give a plenary lecture at Analysdagarna.
